If You Were…

If You Were…

by JOSEPH BRYANT (Italian Stallion)

If you were in my eyes for one day
My smile would be huge
I’d see your beauty from deep within
And that I’d never want to lose

If you were in my heart for one day
It would beat that much faster
Just knowing you’re in my presence
Knowing we connected from deep within

If you were in my arms for one day
With your warmth up against me
And the smell of your sweet hair
I’d never want to let go

If you were in my soul for one day
I’d feel complete
Like I’ve been striving for
And in my heart I’d know you are the one

If you were in my eyes, heart, arms, and soul
Then I’d know you were in my life forever
Holding me close and kissing each other
Moments after we said, “I Do”
